The PV2500 is NOT a surge protector but a VOLTAGE PROTECTOR.
 
Unlike surge protection which uses jouetes to absorb spikes in electricity to protect all devices that are plugged into it, the PV2500 is so different. UNLIKE surge which burns out after a spike, the PV2500 never burns out. lt senses incoming voltage and automatically shuts off the power to everything plugged into it when the vottage goes over 135v. When it drops below 135v, it automatically turns on the power. High voltage damages our electronic investments, so does low power. The 2500 shuts of voltage below 100v and again restores power when it reaches a higher number. Low voltage can be as destructive as high voltage. Made in North America and not China.
